MEDW 2012 Supporting Association

SAS AICHESaudi Arabian Section of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (SAS-AIChE)

The Saudi Arabian Section of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (SAS-AIChE) is a non-profit professional association.  It has memberships from all major companies of Saudi Arabia including SABIC, Saudi Aramco, KFUPM, KFU, SWCC, Royal Commission, and many other private companies.  The major activities of the association are the Monthly Technical Dinner Meeting of the members and company visits.  The Meeting is highlighted with presentation from a well-known expert/specialist on chemical engineering-related or other subjects.

These activities provide members with an opportunity to meet in an informal professional atmosphere with those in engineering and management functions in other organizations. The section has been very successful in attracting high quality speakers for a variety of topical subjects. The subjects presented at meetings, though related to Chemical Engineering and to the Process Industries, are often of a general nature. And the regular meetings have been well attended.
